We serve as the donor “hub” for the county.

Our volunteers listen to the concerns and needs of our communities and invest in those initiatives that can have the greatest positive impact.

As part of the Nebraska Community Foundation network, we share ideas with and learn from other communities and create opportunities for collaboration among other local organizations, businesses and interested individuals. We also invest in people - those with knowledge in specific areas that can lead an idea or help solve a problem in order to make this a more attractive place to live and work.

When individuals or families are interested in giving back to the community but are unsure where those dollars could do the most good, the BCFF can provide insight and guidance on the projects or organizations with the highest need. Recent initiatives our organization helped guide include: the Boone County Trails System, Boone Beginnings, Boone County Ag & Education Center, Emerging Leaders Academy, and the Boone County Big Give.
