Our annual grant program offers support for organizations and projects across Boone County. Grants are considered if the project/organization supports the Foundation’s mission of enhancing quality of life in Boone County. This could include: annual programming, upgrading equipment, expanding programs, or a host of other needs.
Applications for the 2019 BCFF Grant Program are being accepted now through February 4. Grant applications must be submitted electronically:

Please note: The Boone County Foundation Fund does not award funding to Individuals, School Districts, Cemetery Boards, and Religious Organizations. If you are unsure if your project or organization qualifies, please email: info@boonecountyfoundation.com.

In 2016, the BCFF granted $24,100 to qualifying local and area projects and organizations, including:
– Albion Area Arts Council: $2,000 for programming
– Albion American Legion: $2,000 to support Boys and Girls State & Legion Baseball
– Albion Public Library: $2,600 for technology update/learning center
– Albion Senior Center: $1,700 to replace salad bar, new paint and curtains
– Boone County Development Agency: $1,000 toward promotional video
– Boone County Historical Society: $2,000 toward its new heating/air system
– Cedar Rapids Rescue Squad: $3,500 to upgrade emergency equipment
– Good Samaritan Society-Albion: $5,000 toward furnishing for the new wing at Wolf Memorial
– Village of Petersburg: $1,500 for downtown park improvements
– Village of Primrose: $500 toward new park picnic tables
– Petersburg American Legion: $1,400 toward Boys and Girls State & Jr. Law Cadet
– Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department: $2,400 for an auto crib
